The event, on May 13 and 14, will be broadcast to more than 70 countries worldwide with a global audience of up to 200 million. It will be aired on terrestrial, satellite and cable television across four continents.
The deal was agreed between Joe Cappello, CEO of Air Malta, and Martin McDonald, commercial director of the KBL Powerboat Management.
Air Malta will be flying the teams, technical staff and media representatives to Malta from various countries.
Said Cappello; “We believe that such events offer tourists visiting our beautiful islands an added experience, attracting more visitors to our islands and thus assisting the local tourism industry.”
