USOC'S NEW INTERNATIONAL VISION

The US Olympic Committee has moved to boost its attempts to bid for future Olympic Games by appointing IOC member Bob Ctvrtlik as its new international vice president.

The new role is seen as a key method of enhancing USOC’s standing globally, with Ctvrtlik working alongside the group’s chairman and CEO in devising its international strategy.
It is believed USOC is eyeing a possible bid for the 2016 Olympic Games.
