The Silver Level sponsorship agreement sees the management consulting and technology services company support the sailing team in training for the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2008.
The agreement includes an option to extend the sponsorship through until London 2012. The company will also be working closely with the Royal Yachting Association as the Official Consulting partner.
Accenture says the deal will enhance its company profile in the UK through a series of branding opportunities; build on its backing of the London 2012 bid by remaining involved in the British Olympic family; showcase its business capabilities and provide high-end networking events for client entertaining and business development.
It shares Silver Level sponsorship of Skandia Team GBR 2008 with Alfred McAlpine PLC and Gul International.
