Sebago, a division of Wolverine World Wide (Rockford, Mich.), joined the World Tour a year ago and the renewed deal runs through December 31, 2006.
As part of the agreement Sebago will receive exposure on World Match Racing Tour television programmes and at on-site display areas. It will also have use of the World Tour logo when marketing, advertising and promoting its footwear.
“Sebago renewed its sponsorship of the World Tour because of the significant global exposure we received last year,” said Rod Stafford, general manager for Sebago.
“We believe that we achieved our goal of reinforcing our brand awareness, and look forward to increasing our exposure with new markets this year.”
The footwear manufacturer is one of four sponsors of the Tour, which include auto manufacturer BMW as a Partner and the Official Car of the World Tour.
