From the 2006/07 season, Plazamedia, Germany's largest sport TV producer and full service provider for TV and new media, will produce German Premier League and Second League programmes for Arena's pay-TV platform.
Arena Sport Rechte und Marketing GmbH has commissioned the producer for three years as its sole production service provider.
Arena's services comprise full indoor and outdoor production. This includes providing all the production technology and personnel for outdoor production services in the stadiums, transmission to the broadcasting centre in Ismaning as well as live production for the Conference Channel and broadcasting.
The Conference Channel is based on a complex technical production process in which all the games in a day along with conference switching of all the match highlights are broadcast live and parallel to each other.
