INTERACTIVE WEBSITE OFFERING

Sports website Sportal.com has reached agreement with the Voice Commerce Group for live streaming of a World Cup warm-up match while offering fans free calls, voice and video messages online.

The website provides a fully branded, VoIP-enabled service called Sportaltalk that offers a range of interactive content and internet telephony services.

These include: videocasts and access to live sports events, free PC-to-PC calls, low cost phone calls to any phone globally and video and voice messaging to allow customers to share and talk about the sport while it is taking place.

Sportal will use its WhitePhone and CastAlive technology to promote today's broadcast via a video announcement across the WhitePhone Network, comprising 200 countries worldwide.

The video announcement promotes an exclusive live IPTV broadcast of the match between Trinidad & Tobago and Iceland at Loftus Road, London from 8pm this evening.

The game can be viewed on Sportal.com and through the WhitePhone Desktop.

Peter Lewinton of Sportal.com said: "We expect that using WhitePhone will help us to build stronger relationships with our customers and build differentiation to our sports publishing business. Moreover, CastAlive will help us with rich media advertising and promotion of future events to a worldwide audience."

The Voice Commerce Group predicts that many website publishers will start to change to incorporate integrated voice and video technologies linked to desktop applications that are appropriate to consumers or business users.

Voice commerce provides the tools that enable any e-business to voice-enable its website, offering customers a new online experience.
