RED BULL EXTENDS U.S. MOTOGP SPONSORSHIP

Energy drink manufacturer Red Bull will continue its title sponsorship of MotoGP's US Grand Prix for another three years.

It follows a deal with MotoGP's commercial rights-holders Dorna Sports, following the sport's return to the US in 2005 for the first time in 11 years.

The Red Bull US Grand Prix enjoyed sell-out crowds on all three days last year.

Red Bull has been instrumental in bringing top-level motorcycle racing back to North America, having worked with the Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca circuit and the Sports Car Racing Association of the Monterey Peninsula (SCRAMP) to help make the necessary safety modifications.

The energy drink also supports several riders in MotoGP as well as Austrian manufacturer KTM’s 250 and 125cc racing teams.
