The firm will be on site at the match between Werder Bremen and Juventus with a record-setting 20 cameras and 80 staff.
The live pictures from this round of 16 games will be provided in HD exclusively to subscribers on the Premiere HD Sport channel.
There will also be HD coverage of the Austrian national football league. Each top match of the T-Mobile Bundesliga will also be produced using the new HD standard. Nine cameras and over 30 Plazamedia staff will be on site for each match.
The German-based company will also cover matches in the UEFA Cup and serves as the host broadcaster by providing the base signal for four of the matches.
