Spain and Germany lead the ratings with almost 75 per cent of all audiences.
With more than 53 hours of broadcast time on 10 different channels across Europe in December, the EHF Champions League reached a total of 3.66 million viewers.
The highest-rated TV broadcast for a match was reached in both Germany and Spain. MDR in Germany managed 440,000 viewers (2.5 per market share) for live coverage aired on December 4 and LA2 in Spain attracted the same viewership (4.5 market share) for its live coverage.
Spain aired around 13 hours of live/delayed match action and attracted the highest audience total of 1.39 million viewers.
Germany was second with 1.3 million viewers, followed by Denmark with 520,000.
