The unique event - held by the SportBusiness Group in conjunction with the Cass Business School - aims to develop and enhance the knowledge and understanding of professionals in the sports industry.
The two-day event, which takes place at the Cass Business School in London from March 29-30, offers a comprehensive programme of seminars, workshops, keynote addresses and discussion groups.
These include 'Harnessing The Power of Sports Tourism', which is being supported by the NWDA.
Peter Mearns, NWDA director of marketing, said: "England's Northwest is home to a thriving sports sector, which currently employs 49,500 people and contributes £3billion to the regional economy."
He added: "Following the successful delivery of a number of world-class sporting events, including the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, England's Northwest is a prime example of how to harness the benefits of sports tourism."
