Sochi 2014, the Russian bid to host the 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, has appointed IMG and Weber Shandwick to support its campaign.
Sochi, an international resort by the Black Sea in the south of Russia, launched its bid in July 2005 with the full backing of the Russian Government, National Olympic Committee and the Mayor of Sochi.
The appointment of sports marketing giants IMG and public relations specialists Weber Shandwick follows recent executive appointments, including CEO, Dmitry Chernyshenko.
