HAT-TRICK HERO TO OPEN SOCCEREX FORUM

Sir Geoff Hurst, hero of England's 1966 World Cup winning team, will be opening The Soccerex London Forum.

Another England legend, Sir Clive Woodward, has also accepted an invitation to attend as he makes the transition from rugby union to football in his capacity as director of football at Championship side Southampton.

From across the Atlantic, US entrepreneur Casey Wasserman, will speak on TV and new media rights.

Wasserman became the youngest owner of a professional sports team when he purchased Arena Football League's Los Angeles Avengers and in 2002 he negotiated the league's groundbreaking national television deal with NBC and collective bargaining agreement with its players.

He is founder and CEO of Wasserman Media Group, one of the most prominent sports and media companies in the US, with offices in London.

The forum, an international gathering of more than 300 influential figures in the world of football, takes place at the Institute of Directors, London, on April 5.
