Hugh Griffiths, chief executive of Sussex County Cricket Club since 2002, will be taking semi-retirement at the end of the 2006 season.
He will move to a new executive position for three days a week, which will enable the club to continue using his 11 years’ management experience at Sussex.
The club is now actively seeking a replacement as chief executive.
