The tournament takes place in Bremen, Germany, from April 24 to May 1.
Adham Sharara, president of the international table tennis federation (ITTF), said: “The addition of ARAG Group as a major sponsor is a great boost to the event and will also provide excellent exposure to ARAG on TV screens throughout Europe.
“The WTTC will be extensively covered around the world and more particularly by Eurosport in Europe and CCTV in China, which makes for a win-win situation for ARAG and the WTTC in Bremen.”
Twenty-four teams will be competing for the title at the 48th edition of the event.
