The Test matches, which start on January 13, will be played in Lahore, Faisalabad and Karachi.
Allianz’s sponsorship is the group’s first association with cricket in South Asia, reports Pakistan's Daily Times.
“The decision to sponsor the 2006 Pakistan-India Test series was driven by our intentions to expand and further leverage the Allianz brand in the Asian region with particular focus on the Indian and Pakistani markets. And cricket offers the best platform to connect with our customers,” said a spokesman for Allianz.
