WRU'S TICKET TOUTING CRACKDOWN

Tagged in

Twenty clubs and organisations face a grilling from the Welsh Rugby Union over claims of breaches to its new ticket policy.

The WRU has summoned the clubs to a hearing on December 30 to determine what appropriate further action is to be taken against those clubs, organisations and debenture holders who are found to have fallen foul of the new policy.

In certain cases this could result in a total revocation of ticket allocation.

A WRU statement read: “The WRU is determined to maintain a tough stance on organisations and individuals selling on tickets at inflated prices both on the streets and in particular via website auction sites.”
