He called on clubs and associations to act in a more professional manner to help the development and long-term sustainability of the game on the continent.
Said Blatter: “Asian doesn’t have the professional governance in the national associations of the leagues. If the clubs are not treated as commercial entities and organised appropriately it will not work.
“Just look at the way the big European clubs and associations work. They are successful because it is professional run and well organised.”
