This includes the 2006, 2007 and 2009 IBF World Championships, the 2007 and 2009 Sudirman Cup and the 2006 and 2008 Thomas & Uber Cup.
The deal covers all forms of media – television, broadband, 3G and other new media as well as global news distribution.

"Badminton helped IEC break into the global television market. Since 1994, we have worked closely with the sport and after opening of IEC offices in Asia in 2000, we started to add many IBF Grand Prix events.
"We are therefore very pleased to partner with the governing body for the finest badminton events the sport can offer,” said Jonas Persson, CEO of IEC in Sports.
