Korean mobile phone manufacturer VK Mobile has agreed a one-year sponsorship deal with French football club Olympique de Marseille.
The 'official supplier' sponsor status means the VK Mobile marque will appear on players’ shirts and hoardings around the Velodrome stadium of the UEFA Cup and French Ligue 1 team.
The sponsorship is aimed at increasing the visibility of the VK Mobile brand across Europe.
VK Mobile will work in conjunction with Groupe Avenir Telecom, who also announced a sponsorship deal with Marseille for its Internity retail brand, to develop a communications package for VK.
