WORLD CUP TICKETS SET FOR MAY LAUNCH

Tagged in &

More than 800,000 tickets for the 2007 Cricket World Cup will go on sale on May 1 next year, organisers have confirmed.

Prices for the games – to be staged in the West Indies – will start at $10 and rise to $300.

Organisers say there will be three ticket sale phases – with the first running from May to July next year, and then from September to November. The final wave will go on sale from January to April in 2007.
Tournament commercial chief Stephen Price said: “There will be prices for every pocket and everyone will get a fair chance of obtaining a ticket.”
