NEW PRESIDENT OF ADIDAS AMERICA

Adidas-Salomon AG has appointed Rob Langstaff as president of adidas America Inc., its North American subsidiary.

The appointment is effective from January 1, 2006.

A US citizen and 14-year adidas veteran, Langstaff will be in charge of all the company's operations in the North American market and will report directly to Erich Stamminger, CEO of adidas America and executive board member of adidas-Salomon AG, responsible for global marketing and North America.

Langstaff most recently served as president of adidas Japan K.K. since 2003. Under his leadership, adidas grew in Japan from number three to market leader in 18 months.

Christophe Bezu, head of adidas region Asia/Pacific, will continue to oversee operations in Japan.
