GEARHOUSE SERVES FOR MASTERS

Equipment rental and project solutions company, Gearhouse Broadcast, is providing technical facilities for the ATP Masters Series and Tennis Masters Cup.

The Tennis Masters Cup is being held at the New Qi Zhong Stadium in Shanghai. It started on November 13 and runs until November 20.

Gearhouse Broadcast and its client Tennis Properties Limited (TPL) will work with a local Chinese production and technical team to deliver a live broadcast of the event to television viewers around the world.

CCTV will be providing an outside broadcast truck, which will be re-configured to suit TPL’s production specification.

Gearhouse will be supplementing this OB van with additional equipment to enable the same level of coverage as provided at the other nine ATP Masters Series venues.

In addition to add-on facilities for the OB van, Gearhouse will be providing other production control rooms, dedicated to World Feed, US network ESPN and Japanese broadcaster GAORA.

The event has suffered, however, after withdrawals through injury of high-profile players such as Andre Agassi and Spanish sensation Rafael Nadal.
