The independent sponsorship consultancy has been appointed to offer TNL "a 360-degree vision" into the sport market place.
It will work with the marketing and promotions teams to develop sponsorship and promotions packages with sporting events, while ensuring that the newspapers' sports offerings are represented to commercial partners wishing to associate themselves with the newspaper brands and the sporting events.
Times Newspapers recently renewed its association with England Rugby and Premier Rugby and boast columnists including England rugby star Jonny Wilkinson and England footballer Michael Owen.
Lighthouse has been briefed to maximise existing associations as well as developing new opportunities.
