The conference, organised by Government agency UK Trade & Investment, takes place at The Brit Oval (Surrey County Cricket Club's ground in Kennington, London) on November 29.
International events that present major business opportunities for UK-based companies of all sizes include The Cricket, Football and Rugby World Cups, the Commonwealth Games and the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Martin Harman, chairman of the International Sports & Leisure Infrastructure Sector Advisory Group, will host the event.
Keynote speakers will include Chris Dehring managing director/CEO, ICC Cricket World Cup 2007 and Mike Power, chief operating officer of London 2012.
Interactive panel sessions will feature industry representatives Michael Hooper CEO, The Commonwealth Games Federation, and Dr Rogan Taylor, director, Football Industry Group, University of Liverpool as well as many other experts in the field.
Workshops will cover: Safety and Integration, PFI/PPP/Venue Financing, Legacy Planning, Event Integration; each of which will be lead by industry experts.
