Angola's national team has been awarded a jackpot of $1.3 million.
It follows a government decision to reward the team for reaching the World Cup finals for the first time.
Sports minister Marcos Barrica said the money would be split between the squad.
Some players could get up $65,000 each, depending on the number of games they played during the qualifiers.
