NIMBUS TAKES ON CHALLENGE

International sports marketing agency, Nimbus Sport, has bagged the commercial rights to Indian cricket’s Challenger Trophy 2005.

It will market all rights to the Challenger Trophy, including broadcast, licensing and sponsorship rights.

The Trophy offers fans the chance to see the 36 best available players in India in action – under floodlights – fighting for a place in the national team.

The event will be staged by the Punjab Cricket Association, with live coverage produced by Nimbus Sport.

Satish Menon, president, Nimbus Sport, said: “No other big cricket is taking place between 10-13 October - the event is positioned perfectly in the gap between the third and fourth games of the ICC Super Series in Australia. This will be a blockbuster series.”
