TWI, the media arm of IMG, has a global network of more than 40 offices and an internationally-recognised sales force.
Endeavor is one of the largest talent agencies in Hollywood, representing a host of well-known actors, as well as creators and executive producers of popular TV shows.
Transend aims to exploit all rights opportunities in various formats, including video, DVD and new media.
Former head of programming at Target Entertainment, Ian Moffitt, has been appointed as managing director of Transend, and will be based in Los Angeles.
Initial projects include 'Vegas Law', a reality series about a flamboyant defence attorney, and 'Shaquille', a behind-the-scenes show featuring the basketball/rap star Shaquille O'Neal.
