The findings of the Sponsorship Negotiation Review Committee examined the relationships between the former sponsors Cable & Wireless, new sponsors Digicel, and the WICB itself.
The committee was formed amid concerns over whether the deal was in the best interests of the WICB, whether an ‘improper’ relationship between the WICB and Digicel exist, and whether payments were improperly accepted by members of the WICB prior to a deal being signed.
The report will be made public, and a response expected, on September 16.
The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) are set to respond to a probe into the controversial circumstances surrounding the recent Digicel sponsorship deal.
