CURRY NETS D-LEAGUE POST

Former NBA Players’ Association president Michael Curry has been named the vice president of player development for the NBA Development League.

In his role, Curry will supervise all of the D-League's programmes that are designed to teach players both on and off the court, including skills training, education and community involvement.
NBA commissioner David Stern said: “Michael has always expressed an interest in helping to develop young players whose potential has yet to be realised. His personal experience in development leagues and ultimately as a valued NBA veteran, makes him a perfect fit to contribute to the mission of the D-League."
