Two candidates are in the running to be the next chairman of the The British Olympic Association (BOA).

Nominations have now closed leaving David Hemery CBE, a vice chairman of the BOA and an Olympic gold medalist, up against Lord Colin Moynihan, an Olympic silver medalist in rowing and former Sports Minister.

The new chairman will be elected on October 5.

Current chairman Craig Reedie, who has served in the role since 1992, announced his intention to retire from the post last month.
