The UK’s Rugby Football League (RFL) has signed a new two-year deal with Powergen to remain as sponsors to its Challenge Cup competition.
The energy company has been the RFL’s Challenge Cup partners for the last three years and the new contract covers both the 2006 and 2007 competitions.
The 2006 final is due to take place at the new Wembley Stadium on August 26.
