HONDA IS FIRST HERO IN JOHNNNIE WALKER CRICKET SERIES

Hero Honda has signed up as an Official Partner to the inaugural Johnnie Walker Super Series in Australia this October.

The competition will see world champions Australia take on specially selected ICC World XI teams in three official One Day Internationals at Melbourne’s Telstra Dome on 5, 7 and 9 October, followed by a six-day Super Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground from 14 to 19 October.

Hero Honda, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, is an existing International Cricket Council (ICC) Official Global Partner and has previously supported tournaments including the ICC Cricket World Cup and the ICC Champions Trophy.

The company is also an active promoter of cricket and cricketers in India, with national cricketing icons Sourav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh and Mohammad Kaif signed up as brand ambassadors.

Pawan Munjal, managing director, Hero Honda Motors Ltd. said, “Our association with the Johnnie Walker Super Series is a natural extension of this long-term commitment to promote cricket in India and internationally.”
