The International Rugby Board (IRB) Under 19 World Championship takes place in Dubai from 4 to 21 April.
The decision follows last week’s announcement by the IRB that it is to invest £30million over the next three years in the sport’s continued growth worldwide.
The tournament will be sponsored by Emirates Airline. It recently signed a multi-million dollar sponsorship deal with Australia's new Super 14 rugby team, the Western Force - now called Emirates Western Force.
Other Emirates rugby sponsorships include the popular Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens, the London and South African Sevens tournaments and the England and Samoan Sevens teams.
The two-tier event will see 800 of the finest young players from 24 countries play across two divisions of 12 teams each.
