BUSINESSMAN LOOKING TO HAMMER OUT TAKEOVER

Tagged in &

Businessman Kia Joorabchian is reportedly preparing a £70million deal to buy newly promoted Premier League club West Ham.

Iranian-born Joorabchian, 33, who holds a British passport, is head of Media Sports Investment, which owns a large stake in Brazilian side Corinthians.

"I have had a meeting with West Ham and will seriously consider an offer," he told the UK's Daily Express newspaper.

It is believed he turned his attention to West Ham after abandoning a bid to buy Newcastle.
