The sister company of energy firm npower has signed what it describes as the biggest ever sponsorship deal in Welsh club rugby.
The npower renewables arm of the company – a green energy developer and operator – has signed the deal with Celtic League champions the Ospreys.
The deal is worth £300,000 over the next two years.
Kevin McCullough, director of npower renewables said: “Our sister company, electricity retailer npower, has a strong track record in sports sponsorship in England and we decided that sponsorship of a Welsh rugby team of the calibre of the Ospreys would be a very successful partnership for us.”
