KERR APPOINTED DIRECTOR OF BRITISH EUROSPORT

David Kerr, current Head of Sport at Channel 4, has been appointed the new Director of Brtish Eurosport.

He will manage all programming, production and promotions at the channel, reporting to FranC'ois Schmitt, Deputy Managing Director of Broadcast, based at Eurosport's Headquarters in Paris.

In his time at Channel 4, David has overseen the multi-award winning Test Cricket and Channel Four Racing, both renowned for their innovative approach to sports broadcasting, as well as a host of other sports including World Cup Skiing, World Rally and World and British Superbikes, many of which he acquired for the channel.

He recently played a key role in negotiating a groundbreaking sponsorship deal with the Tote and British racecourses that has enabled Channel 4 to continue broadcasting racing beyond the end of 2005.
