LADIES EUROPEAN TOUR FACING PLAYER REVOLT

Tagged in &

Players on the Ladies European Tour are considering a vote of no confidence in the board of directors following the sacking of the tour's chief executive.

Lizza Moya was sacked just six months after being appointed chief executive by the board.

Her removal looks to have antagonised the players, according to the UK's Daily Telegraph, who are keen for stability following years of squabbling and a long line of chief executives.

Moya is expected to be at the unofficial players meeting tonight.

Ian Randell was dismissed from the chief executive post in November 2004 and since then commercial director Serafin Ibanez Bailey and media director Martin Park have also been removed.
