NETJETS BACKS BRITISH POLO

The British Polo Championship returns to the English polo season with private jet operator NetJets resuming as the title sponsor for the event.

The all-professional tournament will take place during the week beginning July 25 as the culmination of the British High Goal season and enjoys the involvement and support of a range of corporate sponsors.

Last year’s event was broadcast on BBC, Sky Sports and Eurosport and was seen by millions of viewers in the UK and across Europe.

This year will see an English national team sponsored by Audi, a British Lions team sponsored by Williamson Tea, a Nigerian team and an Australian team.

Other sponsors include Destination Marketing, MRS Oil & Gas, OVLAS Trading, Blue Tuna productions, Cliveden House Hotel, FSPG accountants, Hurlingham Polo Association, mig International, Polistas clothing and Quilmes beer.

The semi-finals will be played on Friday, July 29 and the final on Sunday, July 31 at Coworth Park Polo Club, near Ascot.
