The event, which will be known as The Betfred Championship of Great Britain, is the UK’s showpiece national championship and takes place at Oxford’s Sandy Lane Stadium on Sunday July 10.
It will be broadcast live on Sky Sports from 7pm.
Betfred will also be the official bookmaker of the event and will be running a series of special promotional bets in the run-up to the championship.
Peter Toogood, chairman of the BSPA, the sport,s governing body in the UK, says: “I think that reaching an agreement with such a high-profile brand as Betfred demonstrates the huge strides that speedway has made over the past few years, in terms of both broadcast and commercial partners, and also in the increased profile of the sport.”
