More than 70 hours of event broadcast coverage will be available to US fans via national broadcast on the PAX national television network and Comcast Regional Sports Network (RSN) and online.
It follows agreement between The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), Dentsu Inc, USA Track & Field (USATF) and the World Championships Sports Network (WCSN).
Fifty-plus hours of live coverage also will be webcast on a pay-per-view basis at www.wcsn.com, the site of the World Championship Sports Network (WCSN). The site is to launch in late July.
All material on wcsn.com will be archived, so fans can view the action from Helsinki at any time – including live - during the championships from August 6-14.
