It increases the number of stations that broadcast live or same-day-delayed coverage of the World Championship events to 47.
The recent success of Gabor Talmacsi - the Hungarian who won the Gran Premio Alice d’Italia and one of the leading contenders in the 125cc class – is said to have been a key factor in the increased level of awareness that MotoGP has enjoyed in the central European country in 2005.
The one-year agreement signed by Magyar TV with Dorna Sports, the company that holds the rights to MotoGP, entitles the broadcaster to show every Grand Prix either live or through a same-day highlights package.
