The bank joins PacifiCare, Coors Light and Bridgestone in the fourth annual Centrix Financial Grand Prix of Denver presented by PacifiCare from August 12 to 14, 2005.
FirsTier Bank is an independent locally-owned community bank based in Louisville, Colorado. It will be active during the event weekend promoting banking services by displaying signage throughout the race circuit and making a major contribution to YouthBiz, a Grand Prix Foundation charity, prior to the race.
Said Jim Freudenberg, general manager of the Grand Prix. "What makes the Grand Prix special for Denver is through partnerships with locally-owned businesses, such as FirsTier, we are able to integrate the Grand Prix into the community."
The SCCA SPEED World Challenge Championships is split into two separate series and races-SCCA SPEED GT and SCCA SPEED Touring Car. It takes road cars and modifies them to extract maximum performance.
Races are 50 minutes duration featuring manufacturers such as Acura, BMW, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, Mazda, Porsche and Volvo.
