SECURITY THREATENS PAKISTAN TEST

England are reportedly reluctant to play a Test Match in Karachi on their cricket tour to Pakistan later this year due to security worries.

The city has been the target of several bomb attacks recently and England would not be the first team to refuse to play a Test there.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has invited the England and Wales Cricket Board to visit Karachi in the hope of at least getting agreement for a one-day international match, reports the UK’s Daily Telegraph.

Pakistan has already dropped Peshawar, close to the Afghanistan border, as a venue for the five one-day and three-Test series.
