The three-year agreement with TWI includes the distribution of eight 26-minute race-magazine programmes, season preview and review programmes and news distribution from each of the scheduled races via SNTV.
TWI Italy’s head of business, Ioris Francini, said: “ We are delighted to be working with IOTA again, and to add the Class 1 World Powerboat Championship to our existing powerboating portfolio, which already included the F1 World Championship.
“By securing the rights of Class 1, TWI now handles the two leading powerboating World Championships, in the respective disciplines of Offshore (Class 1) and Circuit (Formula1).“
TWI won the six-year F1 World Championship global rights deal last year.
