Poise Marketing, specialists in using education as a marketing tool, created the new Play Tennis Zone for the Wimbledon Championships in 2004. The Zone was first featured at the Championships in 1999.
William Anderson, business director at Poise Marketing, said: "We have run highly successful events for brands celebrating the UEFA Champions League and World Indoor Athletics Championships, but this is our first appointment by a governing body. It demonstrates the LTA's commitment to making Britain a great tennis nation".
"We create authentic and engaging sport education and participation events. The Play Tennis Zone is fantastic for the kids and encourages everyone to take up sport."
Poise Marketing has gathered data from visitors about their tennis interest and experience and other pastimes that tennis is competing with.
The company claims the benefits of experiential marketing are now better understood and quantifiable, with 83 per cent of consumers making or considering a purchase as a result of a brand experience.
