UEFA ACT OVER AGENTS

Tagged in &

Soccer’s European governing body, UEFA, has held the first meeting of a working group set up to address concerns over the role of agents in the game.

The first meeting took place yesterday at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

The working group comprises experts from all key stakeholder groups such as agents, associations, clubs, leagues, player unions and the sport’s world governing body, FIFA.

Discussions centred on some of the key problems, both on a European level and bearing in mind the wide range of different experiences and practices occurring at national level.

The purpose of the working group is to develop recommendations and proposals to tackle the problems identified.
