NEC has signed a new two-year agreement that will see them become club sponsor until the end of the 2006/07 season.
This deal includes title sponsorship as well as branding on the famous quartered shirt. NEC will also now become the ‘Official Technology Partner’ of the club. Quins say this is “a key point in the development of the new commercial and hospitality facilities currently being built at the Stoop”.
This increased six figure commitment will see NEC enter their 10th year of partnership with Quins, making them the longest serving sponsor in club rugby.
Joe Troedson, sponsorship director of NEC Harlequins, said: “The loyalty NEC has displayed underlines the value of successful partnerships in sport today.”
The club says sponsorship renewals have also been agreed with CSF, law firm Norton Rose, The Eden Park Clothing Company, The Greene King Brewing Company and Kooga Rugby.
In addition, eteach.com, a UK education recruitment website, sponsor and Quins community development partner, has entered contract extension talks to take the partnership beyond the end of the 2006/07 season.
