Under the new agreement, Stanford Financial Group will use its expertise in financial management to advise the ATP on its corporate investment strategy. The company will be designated as the ‘Official Investment Advisor of the ATP’.
The Houston, Texas based company launched its first tennis sponsorship in 2004 as the official rankings sponsor of the Delta Tour of Champions.
It will also support a number of ATP promotional initiatives including the popular Fantasy Tennis game on ATPtennis.com, renamed ‘ATP Fantasy Tennis presented by Stanford Financial Group,’ ATP publications and an ATP hospitality programme at select tournaments in North America.
Stanford Financial Group joins a number of international brands, including the INDESIT Company, Ricoh, AOL, BNP Paribas and Skies America Publishing, that have entered into new partnership agreements with ATP in the past 18 months.
They join premier partner Mercedes-Benz and long-standing partners Lotto Sport Italia, Club Med, Penn, Waterford Crystal, Luxilon Sports and Tennis Warehouse.
