The programme is operated by international doping control specialists IDTM and the Beijing International SOS clinic.
This week sees 10 new IDTM doping control officers in China start working on out-of-competition doping control tests for several international federations. For the first time, organisations and workplaces have access to comprehensive drug testing services.
IDTM will provide competence and knowledge about doping control services as well as a network of local doping control officers. International SOS will provide facilities, administration service and medical personnel trained to work as doping control officers throughout China.
The joint venture has received financial support from the government in Sweden, where IDTM has its headquarters.
