He will supervise the Italian operations of the sports rights marketer SPORTFIVE.
Mazzarella most recently worked for the Giochi Preziosi Group, Italy’s largest toys manufacturer, where he was head of marketing, product development and sales in the toys department.
Prior to this, he was with The Coca-Cola Company in Milan in various executive positions for more than six years, including marketing & media manager and global channel commercial director.
SPORTFIVE is the exclusive marketing partner of soccer clubs Lazio and Atalanta, and markets the stadium advertising rights for more than 40 live matches per year, including UEFA Cup matches, Italian national team away matches and Coppa Italia matches.
It also sells TV rights to the Italian media, and, in conjunction with RAI Trade, SPORTFIVE is partner of most of the Italian Serie A and Serie B clubs for the distribution of rights outside of Italy.
